The Bauhaus Dessau Foundation is celebrating International Museum Day and invites you to the Bauhaus. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme featuring guided tours, workshops and activities for different age groups and interests. Admission to the Bauhaus Museum Dessau is free on this day.
At the Bauhaus Museum Dessau, the family tour “Bauhaus Time Capsule”, the curators’ tour “Bakelite | Glaze | Colour”, the open workshop “What Remains?”, and an open typography lab offer a variety of ways to explore Bauhaus topics — in a playful, experimental manner and through shared discussion.
International Museum Day at the Bauhaus Dessau is aimed at families, interested visitors from the region and guests who wish to use the anniversary year as an opportunity to discover the Bauhaus for the first time or rediscover it.
In the Bauhaus Building, the programme includes curator-led tours of the centennial exhibition “Glass | Concrete | Metal”.
