Clay is one of the oldest building materials – and yet it is highly relevant today when it comes to sustainable construction and circular materials. In this hands-on workshop, we will explore the material together: alongside Kay Frömmigen, we will mix various clay mixtures, test their properties and experiment with applying and shaping clay plaster.
The workshop is open to anyone interested. No prior knowledge is required. The focus is on hands-on experimentation: feeling, mixing, shaping and creating. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the properties, uses and applications of clay in interior design.
By the end, participants will have developed a deeper understanding of the material and its potential within the context of sustainable building and design practices.
For young people and adults aged 14 and over.
