During the tour Kirsten Astrup and Maria Bordorff provide insights into the themes of the exhibition and the artistic production process of the work “Drainpipe Dreams”.
For their first solo exhibition in Germany, the Danish artist duo Astrup & Bordorff created an elaborate new art production. At its centre is the new film “Drainpipe Dreams” which intertwines the worlds of stage, musical and performance art in a large spatial installation at the Bauhaus Museum. By combining archeological artefacts, models and other clues, the work speculates about the existence of a forgotten fifth Masters’ House and its inhabitants.
