Friday Group: Tradition + Transfer

In view of the noticeable effects of climate change, both the debates surrounding the issue and awareness of the urgency of concrete measures are increasing in all areas of society. However, there is often disagreement about the urgent next steps that need to be taken. In the Friday Group, guests and visitors discuss examples of possible actions with varying focuses. Current challenges of socio-ecological change are taken into account and concrete action is placed in a larger, global context. Films, short lectures, discussions, interactive forms of participation, and shared food and drink invite guests and the audience to engage in low-threshold encounters.

The name of the series goes back to the Friday Group that Ludwig Hilberseimer led in his Berlin office until 1937.
