Bibliotheken am Bauhaus

Since 1995, Library Day has been drawing attention to libraries in Germany and the wide range of services they offer. This day of action celebrates libraries as indispensable cultural and educational institutions.

In 2026, the Bauhaus libraries will once again be organising an event in collaboration with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

To mark the anniversary “An die Substanz. Bauhaus Dessau 100”, we will be showcasing, amongst other things, a selection from the extensive collection of books gifted to the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation.
