The Leipzig-based type design collective Camelot Typefaces developed the “Variable Font” called Beta Bauhaus for the Bauhaus Dessau. Its multimedia installation in the Spatial Stage of the Bauhaus Museum Dessau explores the design of letters and their digital-dynamic possibilities. Letter forms shapeshift between different states; various formal and ideological principles collide, compete and dissolve.

The exhibition is currently under construction, in the “beta” stage of its development, and will be completed by December 12. We look forward to welcoming you.
