Come with us on an exploration of the Bauhaus Building. We physically engage with the substance of the historic building, thereby approaching the “essence of things”’ as Walter Gropius once demanded. We test the different acoustics, feel the indoor climate, touch selected material surfaces and perceive smells. Design becomes a physical experience, ideas become tangible. In the process, we encounter the personalities and stories of the Bauhaus school and ask ourselves: How do modern ideas, (life) designs and materials connect with space here? How does the Bauhaus affect us today – externally and internally? What touches do we add to this place?
