Discover the fascinating world of plants away from the familiar cultivated plants! In this summer workshop, we go on a journey of discovery to get to know plants such as shepherd’s purse, yarrow, bedstraw, fern, wild carrot and horsetail and create artistic designs.
On the first day, we head out into nature and explore the surroundings with a plant identification book and app. The plants we collect are then used for exciting printing techniques: Using gel printing, we start to make our first prints from our plant templates. On the following days, we will delve deeper into the technique of lino printing and create monochrome and multicoloured plant prints with special colours and rollers.
You can present your finished works of art as greeting cards, bookmarks, mini art cards or in a frame. Whether you are a beginner or already creative – this workshop is perfect for combining nature and art and discovering new techniques!
For children and young people aged between 10 and 16.
