Open Workshop: Balloon bouquets

In this workshop, we will explore the basics of three-dimensional design together. Through the creative use of modelling balloons, we will exploit the potential of simple shapes and create new objects. It’s not just about the technique, but also about a deeper understanding of form and material. What qualities characterise a form? Is it its colour, its structure or its transience that particularly appeals to us? These questions will guide us through the workshop and invite us to explore the materiality and expressive power of the balloon medium.

The artist Sara Oos, who has created a new sculptural work with balloons especially for the special exhibition Delphinium Maximum at the Bauhaus Museum Dessau, will provide insights into the basics of her creative practice.

Whether you already have experience in designing or are new to art, this workshop offers all participants the chance to express themselves creatively and try out new techniques.
