Bauhaus Beats – What does Bauhaus sound like?
In its centennial year, the Winter Workshop 2026 goes in search of the sound of modernism.
How can Bauhaus be heard – as rhythm, as noise, as beat?
In this workshop, music production becomes a field of experimentation: using iPads, smartphones or drum computers, you will create your own “Bauhaus Beats” – inspired by the materials, spaces and sounds of the city. You will record sounds, sample them, mix them and use them to develop your own tracks – whether trap, hip-hop, electro or completely experimental.
You will learn creative production techniques and work with professional music equipment and software that you can use later to set up your own small studio.
No prior knowledge is necessary – everything you need will be provided on site.
