Luciano Berio is an icon of 20th century music. He was one of the stylistically most versatile composers of the post-war era. Over several decades, he composed a 14-part cycle of solo pieces, each written for a different instrument. The centrepiece of this performance is Sequenza III, dating from 1966. The theatre’s ballet ensemble brings the music to life.
