In this Open Workshop, the focus is on celebrating the feminist day of struggle together. The group will work together on a fabric banner with a slogan of their choice. We want to work with our hands, exchange ideas and reflect. We will learn the technique of screen printing while taking a look at Bauhaus history:
What was the situation of women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary and asexual people (in German: FLINTA* for short) 100 years ago? How was it possible for them to study at the Bauhaus, freely choose their courses and pursue a career in design or architecture? What opportunities did they have and were they supported?
Participation in the course does not require any previous knowledge of screen printing. The workshop is open to everyone. We especially invite FLINTA* to take part in the event!
For young people and adults aged 14 and over.
Admission free
