Voices unbound: Facets of the vocal and the accordion through the centuries

Voices unbound: Facets of the vocal and the accordion through the centuries

From the very beginning, musical life at the Bauhaus was also of central importance. Diverse musical performances have a long tradition, which is carried forward into the present day with varied concerts.

Two outstanding voices and an award-winning accordionist combine works from Perotin to Sciarrino and bring the sounds of Radiohead, Nina Simone and others to the stage. Using techniques ranging from classical vocals to rock distortion effects, a sound spectrum is created that redefines the possibilities of the voice and the accordion. Stylistic boundaries are broken down and musical diversity is celebrated.
