Bauhaus as place of learning

With „Bauhaus as place of learning“, the former architecture room becomes a place for an exhibition and for visitors to linger. Against the background and context of the historical Bauhaus Dessau as a school (1926-1932), current forms of learning are presented here that are practised today in the two departments of the Academy and the Curatorial Workshop of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation. These include research and teaching on history and critical reflection on modern and current design discourses as well as communication and playful, speculative reinterpretations of historical exercises, materials and ideas.

Through a selection of featured projects, visitors are invited to participate in the many-voiced conversations of these teaching programmes, workshops, publications and other formats on the discourse and practice of design.
