Parking

Please feel free to use the large visitor car park (access from Friedrichstraße) at the Bauhaus Museum Dessau, which has a signposted disabled parking space. From there, it is a 9-minute walk to the Former Zeeck Department Store. Visitors with reduced mobility may also park on the hard shoulder in front of the Former Zeeck Department Store (Restaurant LOU) on Kavalierstraße. Please observe the signage regarding parking regulations.

Travelling by public transport

Dessau-Roßlau main station is only about 1.2 km from the former Zeeck department store. The platforms are equipped with lifts. To reach the Former Zeeck Department Store, please take the East exit towards the city centre. There you will also find public transport links and the taxi rank. You can take tram lines 1 and 3 to the “Museum Nord” stop. From there, it is just 80 metres to the Former Zeeck Department Store.

Bicycle parking

Bicycle lockers and bike racks are available right next to the Former Zeeck Department Store.

Access to the exhibition

The centennial exhibition “Algae | Debris | CO₂” is located on the second floor. You must pass through the main entrance of the “Lou” restaurant and walk through the dining area. At the far end, a staircase leads up to the exhibition on the upper floor.

Accessibility

A passenger lift is available. The entrance door to the restaurant does not have an automatic door opener.
