Touching 100 Years of the Bauhaus

Join us on an exploration of the Bauhaus Building. We physically engage with the fabric of this historic building, thereby approaching the “essence of things”, as Walter Gropius once advocated. We test the varying acoustics, sense the indoor climate, touch selected material surfaces and take in the smells. Design becomes a physical experience; ideas become tangible. In doing so, we encounter the personalities and stories of the Bauhaus school and ask ourselves: How do modern ideas, (lifestyle) concepts and materials connect with space here? How does the Bauhaus affect us today – both externally and internally? What new connections do we make in this place?
